I’ve read that Synch will give a temporary CL, which in most cases is quite a bit lower than what the actual CL is. I’m sure it’s a identity theft precaution, or something of that nature. I just got a Synch PayPal Cashback MC with a temp limit of $1k.
You’re definitely not first/only one to get a temp CL. Won’t be the last. Look at the “backdoor numbers” thread on the “credit applications” forum and give Credit Solutions a call. A CSR may be able to shed some light on your actual CL and you may be able to get a CLI also. Many on here call and ask for $25k and get it. Some they counter offer.
Congratulations! I’ve wanted that Ironman Marvel MC for quite a while now. Lol. I must wait though.
That's enough for one day of medicine for Ronnie Coleman.
COngrats on approval !!!!
Definitely ask for CLI right away
As mentioned already, that is a temporary CL.
When you receive your card and activate it, you'll be able to see your actual CL.
I got the same email. Starting CL was actually $2k.
...can't remember my score when I applied, but 750ish...
It’s likely not $500 but I haven’t seen a Marvel approval over $2000 going back as far as September of last year. Synchrony seems to keep the SL pretty low on these.
UPDATE....I called in and my starting limit is $2000. If I had known this card gives such low limits I would never have applied. I went for it only because I had one TU inquiry. Anyhow, I will ask for a CLI as soon as the card arrives.

He was doing $1,000 a month of testosterone cypionate alone.
