Been having lots of fun with Approval Sprees recently. Low limits, but hoping to grow these soon..
Thought I'd share my fun in a first post; Also just for a record.
Before approvals:
Amazon SYNCB - Opened 06/2019 canceled in FEB '21.
Amex BCE opened Jan '20 with $1k limit
Apple card - Opened nov '20 with $4k limit
Barclays upromise - Opened Jan '20 with $5k limit
Cap one quicksilver - Opened Jun '19 with $2k limit
Unify secured card - Opened august '20 for $500
Discover - Opened Jan '20 with $2k limit
Lowes opened July '20 with 1k limit
Education CU Credit Card - opened Dec '18 (first card) with $5k limit --- Was bumped to $15k when I applied for an auto loan with them
Two chase AU cards from my dad. One with a $9800 limit one with a $6k limit.
Starting Credit limit for all accounts was $47.5k.
Scores were 730 for EXP 753 for EQU and 758 for TU
These are all the ones being reported. I also have an Amex Amazon business with a $1k limit, and BC business with a $3k limit (this one is getting heavy spend for a business, PIF every month) and a Chase INK for $4700
Between FEB and April I applied for
Auto Loan with Education CU - $9k at 2.25% for 60 months
Applied for 2nd discover, was approved for $3k - used as a Balance transfer for $700, plus the 10x back on categories for the first year.
CLI on original Discover so total limit is $5k on my original card
Auto loan, and cli From Education CU
Barclays CLI - Denied based on too many inquiries on Experian - had about 14 at the time.
WF card - Denied due to not having an account with them (didnt do my research first)
Fidelity Card - Approved for $2k limit; Have about 10k in accounts with fidelity.
TD bank Cash rewards - Approved for $1k limit. $100 for $500 spending. Did not call to recon, and I have about $1k in a checking account with them.
Venmo - Approved for $2200k
Citi DC - Denied due to too many inquiries
4 CLI's on Lowes card during this time as well. Went from 1k -> $5k -> $10k - $17k -> $23K
Applied for Lowes Business card - Approved for $1800
Tomo card - Approved for $2k.
April - Applied for AMEX Business BP an was approved for another $3000.
Ending limit for cards reporting to reports, $79.5k, Total including AU chase cards is $95k
Also applied for a mortgage in March (seems to be going well)
Fico Scores dropped to about ~720 with all the approvals and accounts etc.
Scores have now returned. ~750
Very minute balance being reported, mostly from the Chase cards, then of course my $700 Balance transfer for discover.
You can get a second Discover card? Same type? I didn't know that was a possibility. It
s it Discover It card?
Which bank does Lowe's? I used to have one years ago through Synchrony, is it still Synchrony?

Yes, you can hold up to 2 discover cards at a time.
Both lowes cards are through synchrony bank.
That's very proactive in my book and i congratulate you on making some real positive progress!

They both can be the same.. IE: (2) it cards.
