I'm new to the community but have be lurking around on the forums for a while now. I've had some credit problems down the road in the past but I'm trying to work on it. I recently got a preapproval mailing from Merrick Bank "Double Your Line" credit card with an initial 1k limit that will double to 2k after making my first 7 payments on time. So I decided to go for it and was approved! I would like to thank this community because even though I've been in the shadows sort of speak I've been learning a lot.
That's pretty awesome! haha Looks like they do them quite frequently then. Do you run a lot of spends through them?
I used to, for the past year, I have probably only used the card 4 or 5 times and maybe put $150 on it. I have $1600 that I have been carrying for about a year, but I have never had any lates and I usually pay more then the minimum payments.
