My first app spree in over three years. I was at 2 new accounts (mortgage & car loan) in the past year at application time and no other inqs in the past year other than for the mortgage and car loan. BK7 from 2013 - I did burn US Bank in that. No other realtionship with them other than Elan Fidelity at 10K. Scores are 750-780 range FICO 9.
1) US Bank Cash+: this was the main card I wanted. Application submitted. 7-10 day message. Asked for Balanace Transfer and Authorized User after submitting. Called automated line once a day. Didn't approve until 1 week after application. I reiceved an email this morning 10K approval.
2) UNFCU Azure: Applied for membership (the process was a mess - had to unfreeze chex, they pulled it twice, depts don't talk to each other and they don't reply to emails). Denied Azure. Need to be a member for 1 year. Sad about this, but will apply next year. I tried to call for recon and was put on hold then shut down same 1yr guideline.
3) Union Bank Travel Rewards: I have a thing for oddball cards. Denied due to "unable to verify." Might recon this somehow.
