First got the card at the beginning of the year, SL $200. Just grateful to get in! No complaints. Though it would be nice to have a little more. I have requested CLIs for months now, always denied. I ask for modest, realistic CLIs.
I thought I'd try again, because why not. I don't know if I updated my income in previous requests, so I did this time. (From $23K to $25K, no big difference.) Asked for an increase to $500....
AND GOT IT!!!!! RIGHT UNDER THE WIRE!!!! (Before the card switches to Cap One!) WOO HOO!!!
I know it's not a HUGE difference, but yeah. When you are dealing with $200 for this long and never thought it would get better, it is AWESOME.
Data Points (not that it matters?). FICO 650-660s, high util (68%), a 90-day-late a year ago. Six inquiries on TU. Low income. Steady growth of FICO score since I was first approved in January for this card. Average age of accounts and average age of oldest accounts is pretty good.
Congrats!
Firstly,Congratulations!! Success matters :-)
Secondly,in general,more is usually better
on a credit card ;-) Glad
you got it before Cap One takes over.
Cheers
And thanks for the data points, they matter to.
That's still over a 2x CLI, so it's definitely a big deal. Congrats on the growth!
Congratulations! Call Credit Solutions asap 877-379-8173, you may be able to get a little more. I called yesterday and confirmed they are still processing CLI's for Walmart. Good luck!
Congrats!!
I second the calling ASAP and seeing if they would do a little more BUT in any way Congrats a win is a win no matter how big or small!!!!
Congrats on your Walmart increase!
Thanks, everyone!
I called their credit solutions number (thanks @ocheosa!) but they said no go. Oh well, I'm happy with the $500 limit! It feels great!
