Miracle of Miracles: 1st ever Synchrony CLIs

I've had miserable luck with Synchrony in terms of CLIs ever since they CLD my Sam's club card from 500 to 230 about 4 years ago. Always figured it was for the Care Credit CO which still shows an 821 balance on my credit reports (though I tried to pay and they literally would not take my money.

Since then, was approved for PayPal Credit (11/2019), Amazon 9/2020, and Newegg (9/2020).

Kept hitting the Luv button but always DENIED.

Decided it had been awhile since I was rejected so figured what the heck...

Paypal:  1900 --> 2900 (had asked for 3000 but I guess that last 100 bucks was a bridge too far!)

Amazon:  1800 --> 3000

Newegg:  700 --> 2100

So in 10 minutes, Synchrony gave me 3600 bucks in additional credit!

I was stunned!  Didn't realistically expect anything... Heck, I figured they would probably have shut me down after seeing all my recent activity with Navy and SECU!

Hopefully, this will be the start of the 90-day Ammy CLI pattern!  That's the main card I care about at this point.

Paypal Credit and Amazon have seen heavy use.  Newegg has had minimal use.  Usually have had a balance on PayPal and Ammy but over last few months, paid down significantly.  Newegg rarely has had a balance report.

The limits are now still my lowest... but at least they're more in line with my other cards and showing signs of life!

DPs:

TU Vantage 4=673 (up from 647 last month and highest it has been since Synchrony started tracking)

TU8 is 674... my highest score.

Lots of new credit and inquiries.  Aggregate utilization is just above 30 percent.

Congrats, but sync uses VantageScore so you should be watching that if looking for an increase or approval.

Good point!

I updated my post accordingly to include Vantage 4.0

Re: Miracle of Miracles: 1st ever Synchrony CLIs

For me, capital one has been the stingy one with CLI's. Synchrony has shown me a lot of love. 2 years ago they gave me a Lowes Card with an $800 SL and today it sits at $17k. Cap One has went from $2.5k to 2.8k in 3 years
