NFCU Approval - Good rate, meh SL

I was gardening but was weak when I applied for membership at NFCU and let them talk me into applying for one of their cards. Went with the Platinum due to the low rate and figure it would be good if I had an expense to cover or if I want to transfer some balance over and pay it off at 0% for 12 months. I got the best 5.99% rate but only $3k SL probably because I got the Citi Costco card in June and do have a decent balance on a CapOne VentureOne. Beats a poke in the eye I supposed and I hear they get more generous with some history so maybe not all bad. Now definitely back to gardening.

Congratulations!!  I had a similar experience a month ago.  It's all good....you'll be counting the statements and dates soon for your CLI's in no time!

@Buckwheat2U  ..Congratulations & Welcome to the Navy familysmiley-waving-us-flag.gif

NFCU does not always give large CL's on your first card, it's a YMMV thing.

Your 2nd and 3rd card is where you usually strike GoldSmiley Wink

Congrats!

First card SL is always low for them, but they grow fast. Most of us value the NFCU relationship more than just about any other.
