I’m a newbie here, but just wanted to share my experience with NFCU. I’ve been in the process of fixing my credit as I messed it up back in 2013/2014. I joined back in May and was denied for the cash rewards CC. So I said “what the heck, I’ll try the secured” and was approved. I put $500 on it and been using it heavy and paying in full before the statement cuts. My 5th statement should cut on the 20th so hopefully it graduates.

Anyways I heard people say after 3 months of good history with NFCU they may approve a second card. I took the risk and was instantly approved for $14000 cash rewards!! Now to wait til the secured grads!
