I have started getting rid of some of my subprime cards, and was going to apply for this card later this year. But I figured what the heck, its been exactly a year since my discharge, why not go ahead and apply. I had done extensive research on this site regarding NFCU and their bankruptcy polices, and found they will not approve you until your atleast 1 year from your discharge, and its most likely will be 1k for an SL, with any real CLI until after the second year. Well to my surprise, I applied and was instantly approved for $10k. I'm completely floored, I didnt expect to get in that CL range for atleast another year from now. I hope it wasnt a mistake, I did get an email and text saying I was approved. But this dont match their policy, unless they changed it. I will feel better once I can see the account online. LOL! In the meantime, Im offically done and in the garden. Im very grateful and glad to finally get in the door with NFCU. Looks like i might not miss Amex after all!!:smileylol
