NFCU Early Graduation w/ CLI - Question

So I got graduated 2 months early on a secured NFCU nRewards. They released the 500 hold and gave me a 2k CLI. 

Do you think I can ask them to increase that to 5k? For the past 10 months I've paid my card in full twice a month, my car payment is paid twice a month (6 month old loan), my rent is always on time. My credit score is still low but it has gone up about 80 points recently.  I don't plan to use the card but it's nice if my initial 500 dollar limit would be the new 10% so I don't have to keep such a close eye on my util every reporting date. Since I'll never use more than 500 I'll never be over 10%.

Would they do a HP for a new CLI? Has anyone tried a day after they got the graduation letter?

A long time ago I did mine the day after graduation and went from $1k to $17k ish IIRC

It said there is still a condition on my account that prevents me from asking for a CLI. It might still be marked as secure. I only got the graduation letter yesterday.

Asking for a CLI there is always a chance of a HP. Your chances are lower since you have had the card for a long time, still not a promise though

You obviously havent been around the forums too long, or read very much. Me, CA, and Scupra have been around awhile and dont give bad advice when it comes to CLI's on cards we know A LOT about., and CA is the Navy guru. He has started 3 official Navy threads, that I suggest you take the time to read through them sometime.  We have internal/personal jokes that some of us who have been around here awhile would only know, and Scupra like old school, like me, LOL..

Navy counter offers, so you always ask for the max amount, or you can type it in....$25k! They will either give it you, counter back another offer, or itll go to review. Good luck
