I want to take a shot at membership first at NFCU. If I can possibly apply for a CC without membership than I will take a stab at it. If not, I do have a family member (sibiling) who has NFCU membership and lives in the DC metro area, there are tons of brances in the DC/MD/VA area. The NFCU in New York is only at West Point or in Great Neck, New York. No other branches in the New York Metro area.
