This is just what I was hoping for. With this limit I don't have to be paranoid about paying before my statement date. The relatively low APR is nice too but I always PIF anyways.
This is my 2nd card with NFCU. The first was a $500 Cash rewards approved 6 months and 1 day ago. I was a bit disappointed at the time but this approval totally makes up for it. I've been using the CR card mostly for Costco trips and paying down to $5 before the statement date. I also have a SSL with them and direct deposit to checking.
My FICO 9 scores are generally a bit higher than my 8's. I know NFCU doesn't weight them very heavily for credit applications though.
I have a paid collection from G.I. Bill overpayment and a 2yo 150D late from Citi still on my reports.
I've been gardening since last November when I opened my SSL and it's definitely paid off. I'm going to head back there for another 6 months. I'm at 4/24 now so maybe I'll give the Chase Freedom a shot then.
