You have $300k in available open credit yet you are "fine" with a $500 SL ?
If that were me, Id be miffed
This card is indeed the lowest in my portfolio, but yes, I'm ok with the low limit for now because I'm sure it will grow in the future. It's all about patience my friend. I'm just happy to be a member and to prove I'm worthy of a bigger credit line in the future.

Congrats! And that's a great outlook.
Congrats on your NFCU Platinum card.
Congrats. Your attitude regarding the lower limit is refreshing.

Thanks. I try to see the positive in everything.
Congratulations on your approval! 🎉
Congratulations on your NFCU membership and Platinum approval! I joined them last year and their deposit accounts are solid. I hope to get their More Rewards and Flagship cards in the future!
@Boragard wrote:It has been my goal to become a member of NFCU since 2013 when I joined myfico forums. Yesterday, that day finally happened and today I applied for the Platinum card and was approved for $500. I'm fine with that limit because I know it will grow over time. Keynotes: They pulled TU score was 692 (my lowest of all 3 & 25 inqs!). I hear they pull from EQ when they do CLIs and thats my best at 736 & 7 inqs, so its promising. I have approx $300k available and 10% utl, My oldest file is 19 years. Hope this helps all who is searching. Be well!
Congratulations @Boragard @on your Approval....it will grow👍
(End of 2019)my first NFCU CC(cashRewards) was $500, too(now $4500.)A month later a$36,700 auto loan. 91/3 later(moreREWARDS) $10k(now $15.5k)
as a side: I plan on app'g for the Platinum. Also, want to plant some $ in a CD...I'll wait about a year and a few months for the Platinum--Need to garden and let the dust settle(recent approvals) Slow and Steady wins the race!😉
