After my NFCU auto CLI yesterday, I decided I had to step out of the garden to apply for the NFCU Platinum, since I wanted that card & now is as good a time as any.
Came away with $10k SL & 7.24% APR.
It wasn't an instant approval & not max limit, so there's more room for improvement while I step out of the garden briefly. For anyone who might care about getting this card, they used my EQ9 score of 711, updated Jan 2018.
Sucks to lose my sig shiny, but that's something I can get back quickly in 2 more years, and theres not really much else I want right now besides a car(someday).
I'm thinking this will probably be the last CC I ever app for again.
Now I just have to go change that old sig...
Congrats on the approval!
How long have you been with NFCU?
Thanks! And oh, I don't know, a couple years may be? I've had my CashRewards for 2+ years & I applied for that back when I first joined NFCU.
Fair enough, I just joined in December 2017. I'm going to app for a 2nd card in March. Really been a pleasant experience so far.
Yes, NFCU is the best!
