I have been wanting to get into Navy Federal for years. Thanks to the Navy League San Diego membership option, I finally got my way in without begging my uncle (retired Army colonel) and my mother (his sister) to sponsor me for membership...
Noticed the pull on TU tonight when checking my reports. Also noticed that a collection account I had disputed had been deleted from all 3 CRs so my TU score jumped 33 points overnight. I called NFCU to get my access number, signed up for online banking, and BAM...Approved for nRewards Visa $17,900, 14.6% APR. That is more than 7 TIMES my next highest limit (Merrick Bank $2,400).
I could care less about the rewards as I use Amex for my everyday spending, but this will be the perfect card for BTs...no BT fees so I can get out of debt once and for all and get rid of a couple of my "toy" cards.
Woohoo! Thanks to all the forum members who have made the Navy League option known.
This is a fantastic news for you, congrats on the Navy CC approval .. If you EQ supports it, you can go with A CLOC🕵
congrats on getting in with NFCU! I'm still waiting from my app a few weeks ago, and re-app last week because they wanted my physical hand-written signature... ugh!
Welcome to the NFCU family and congrats on a great approval with them. Have you thought about apping the CLOC too? I would think you'd see a 15k approval on that.

Is there any advantage to applying for the CLOC now vs. a few months down the road? I don't really need it although another high limit TL can only help my scores. Does it require a second HP on EQ anyway?
I wish I could say they would combine pulls but no with NFCU it will be a second pull. You can always circle back later on and grab it then. If getting another higher CL showing now helps you get where you want to be I'd say go for it.
