NFCU cashRewards approval

More data points for NFCU for anyone that is interested. Applied for the credit card today.

cashRewards approval for $1,000 at 16.49%.

FICO 8 credit scores (from 05/23/2018) were Equifax - 642; Transunion - 638; Experian - 623.

Before this, my only credit cards were a Discover IT card at $1,100 (Secured), Citi Diamond at $200 (Secured) and Capital One QS1 card at $750 (Unsecured).

I know they did a Transunion pull for the application, because I received a notice about it as soon as the application went through.

Hope this helps someone, anyone. My wife and I are hoping to purchase our first house in the next 12 months, and would like to go through NFCU in order to do so.

I have been a member of NFCU for 17 years, with many personal loans and a current car loan. I will say that they are very willing to work with you as a member. Obviously your credit scores will factor into your approval/rates, but NFCU will try to help you in your endeavours.
