NFCU cashRewards approval!

Thanks to this forum, I've been rebuilding for a little under a year. Scores were in the low 500s and are now sitting at 644EQ, 626TU and 610EX. Just closed on our house with an FHA loan and applied today to NFCU for a CC and was approved for $5,000 at 18%! This is my first CC and biggest starting limit in over 10 years. Still have a few C/Os reporting and late payments on a bunch if accounts that are all over a year old. NFCU is our primary banking institution so that may have helped. 

Also tried to push the luck and app for a Penfed Power Cash since I'm a member there but no dice. Going to wait for NFCU to report before apping for anymore CCs. Curious to see how my scores react since I have no open CCs right now 

Want to app for an auto loan and start getting out from under the 2 ridiculously high ones we have now but not sure I want to press my luck just yet.

Congrats on the approval!!! Not to rain on your parade, but with your scores I doubt you'll see much "real" love, anywhere but Navy. However after your card shows open you should be able to bring your scores up rather handily just by adding a couple more even not great cards. Best of luck!
