Hey Pizza1 I reconned my approval last night with a SL of 500 , what did yours get to after 3 or 4 months for your first CLI?I would interested in the answer to this too.
Really wouldn't mind making the card another daily driver for me in the future if they are as generous as everyone is been making them out to be, but just like OP, i have other cards with infinitely higher lines and equally generous CLI's and not always with a HP.
Aduke...
after 4 statements my nRewards Visa went to $5k, then eventually....$10k, $14k, $20.5k, and now at $22.5k. I also have a $15k PLOC/checking/savings/car loan with them too. Last year I PC'ed the nrewards to the Cash Rewards Siggy. I really like the Cash rewards

Well, thank you everyone for contributing and chilling me out. As I have stated clearly in my first post, I need a card without foreign transaction fee for s short trip, but I don't travel much, so a travel card is not an option.
You may wonder what trip it is, it is a trip involving a funeral, and I am the only one who has the budgets to take care of everything. There are many other ways to get access to my funds once I'm outside the US, however, too much hassles. So, why not a credit card with no FT fees, and at the same time, earning something back from big spending?
For those who chilled me out, I am greatly thankful! For those who mentioned my attitude, please do not commit the same fallacy again, the fallacy of hasty generalization, especially you haven't got every bit of information yet.
Last but not least, I am not a credit card's limit chaser, but sometimes, I can't just take everything for granted. It is worth to mention that I have been banking with Navy Federal for more than two years, and I applied for this card upon receiving an invitation from them, right at the time I need one like it.

Extremely well said, OP, especially the bolded part.
I had a situation recently where a person on here thought it ok to make unkind comments about the balance I was carrying at a 0% rate. First, it's none of that person's business, and second, the balance I am recently carrying happens to be as a result of two family funerals over the past 10 months.
People definitely need to think before they place themselves in the role of judging others, especially when they haven't been assigned that role.
I fully agree with you on that point.
Best of luck, OP, and have a great weekend!

I'm very sorry for your loss OP, I know how emotional dealing with the loss of a loved one is as my Mom passed away 3 years ago when I was 28, and we were left with the financial responsibility of paying for everything as it was very unexpected and she did not have life insurance. I had no kind of credit at the time so it took everything we had to pay for her funeral ad that in it self resulted in alot of the reason why I am here rebuilding now , alot of things went into collections and had to let go to pay for it..bc what else are you going to do in that situation. I will be keeping you in my thoughts OP!
Lots of strength of character shown here by you, aduke. Very sorry you had to go through that also.
