Navy - 2nd card - CLI

This is my second NAVY card opened 100 days ago.  3rd statement just cut last night or today and heard the AR happened on the 28 of last month.  All CRA's are froozen so was banking on a SP CLI.  screenshot shows the rest.  Have the gorewards at 25k as well.  Only about 50 a month through the card since I have had it so obviously usage doesn't matter.  I am tapped out with Navy now between two CC's and the CLOC.. EQ around 690ish probably 10 inquiries in last year a ton of new accounts in the last twelve months.  Baddies are old paid CO 5.5+ years old and some old 120 day student loan payments also 5.5 years olds.  Many other credit lines in the 15k-30k range.   Utilization 1%ish, AAoA 3+ years, very thick file.  Income six figures.

Thanks Irish.. Indeed we do gotta love them.. what I am going to do with a 25k limit on the platinum card I have no clue unless I ever need a BT I suppose as they are very good with those.  Hopefully I don't need a big one anytime in the near future though!

Re: Navy - 2nd card - CLI

Congratulations, CC! I am really pleased to hear about your excellent progress with this card. My 2nd card will only be at 90 days on March 6, so I'll have to wait just a bit (will probably try in May at next AR).

Keep up the excellent work and positive momentum, my friend! Smiley Happy

Awesome CLI! Better to have the limit and not need it

CC, you never know - there may be a 25k tv out there with your name on it (ha ha).

Yeah, they are good with BTs.  I only have the one Flagship card at $30K and while I have considered opening a second one, can't justify it or really need it.  G/f has the Cash Rewards so we're set although I should PC my Flagship to the Platinum

PC'ing to Platinum is definitely a good idea- when I PC'd to the Platinum, my APR went down 4 points! Good luck. Smiley Happy

Re: Navy - 2nd card - CLI

LOL thanks all..  I agree better having it than not having it when possibly needing it!  Although I think I kinda ruinied that justification with many cards >= to 25k now lol.  Anyways a CU card is a good card to have at those limits as they typically don't do AA on an account if you need to hold a good chunk of change in debt with them for whatever reason aka unexpected hospital bills, etc..

Can't complain going for 5k initial approval to 25k in 100 days and a SP, gotta love it!  I just hate having still to much available credit and now looking for another higher APR card to considering lowering the CL or chopping.. I am just weird like that I suppose.  I just never want to hear a denial of to much available credit.
