So I had an account go bad with Navy about a year ago (due to layoff). Paid them back about a month or 2 ago and opened up a checking account at the same time. Started DD of $100 per check to that account.
Seeing all the other Navy approvals on here, I thought I'd give it a shot.
No way on earth was I expecting to be approved for a $10,000 limit. Yes it's the highest APR but I don't intend on carrying a balance so I'm not worried about that.

Congratulations on your approval!!!
I do have a question though.
I have 2 CapOne cards (both bucketed credit steppers) 1 @ $1,100 CL and the other has a $600 CL.
they've been open for about 2-3 years now. But since they are basically non-growers, do you guys/gals think I could dump them? They're currently in the sock drawer (where they belong).
BTW. In case you did not know, one is eligible for APR reduction at the anniversary of card open date.

If no annual fee, perhaps, keep them warm with usage at least one a month, 6 months maximum.
Congrats on the approval!! Well done!! 👍🏻
Congratulations on your NFCU Approval..
Congrats on your approval. If you treat Navy right, they'll do you a solid.
