Navy Fed $4,000 (SP) bump...after all :-))

Hi everyone just wanted to share my latest experience with a Navy as it was one of my oddest to date. 😆😂

Had mentioned in another thread about my 6 month anniversary from my last cli attempt on my MR card had arrived.

Just a little history on the card approved in Sept 2019 with a $6,500 SL. Put minimum spend on the card and ramped things up during the holidays. In fact my 3/91 had approached without a full (3) statements cuttting.

So the cli attempt after 3/91 was denied for this reason. Tried a month later and was rewarded with an $8k increase bringing the card to $14,500. Forwarding the story to last week made an attempt and was given the standard 24 hour review. Gave it the full 24 and hadn't seen any change in available credit so then phoned into a rep who confirmed to me that the cli request had indeed been denied and that a letter would be sent out with the reasons. Chalked it up as loss in the moment and was marking my calendar to try again at the end of the year.

Logged into my account today to make a payment on the card and low_and_behold, I see my available  credit at $18,500 😲. So the denial in short must have been approved for a lesser amount. I had originally requested $25,000 total which would have been an $9500 increase but they must have countered with the (pandemic) standard $4k. I am pleased with that!

And it just goes to show, only take a representative word with a very "tiny" grain of salt!

Thanks guys for looking 😉
