Hey guys,
Just wanted to share a bit of my story. I've been repairing my own credit for a while now and I am finally at the rebuilding stage. My credit scores have been at a bit of a stand still due to lack of credit. I've been trying to wait until my scores reach the 700's but it would take a while seeing as though I only have 2 tradelines, 1 credit card, and a recently payed off a self lender builder account. I tried for a Amazon card and was INSTANTLY denied. I was a bit dissapointed and felt as though there was no hope. I decided to try for Navy Federal seeing as though I was a member for a couple of months now. I applied on 4/7 and received the "we're reviewing your application" notice. I received a message on the Navy Federal App at 8PM that day stating that I needed to call to provide some information. I called the next morning (4/7) and all they needed was for me to verify that it was me that completed the application because I had a fraud alert on my credit file. They also needed for me to create a secret code name for future calls. I check my phone this morning and saw that Navy Federal emailed me at 1:00AM with the approval of $3,500!!! I feel so blessed, I've been working so hard on my credit for the past year and Navy Federal has given me the biggest limit I've ever had!!! This is just some inspiration for anyone in a similar situation. Keep pushing and you will get there, DO NOT GIVE UP!!! Here is some of the juice for you guys....
