Navy Federal Secured CLI ?

I'm so confused ...

Jan 23rd, I opened a Navy Federal Secured Card with $300.

I used the card for the past 5 months, PIF each month, I may have left a balance 1 month but never saw any interest charges cause I always paid it off ...

I logged in today because I haven't used the card since 4/29 and made the last paid in full payment on May 9th.

It has $2,000 Available Credit ???   HUH ???

They haven't refunded the security deposit back to my savings account yet, but didn't say anything, didn't email me, nothing ... just BAM ... here's $2,000 ..... i'm so lost ...

Re: Navy Federal Secured CLI ?

I am sure the card was graduated, 2k seems to be the standard CLI, you should see the return of the deposit soon.  Congrats.  Not a bad idea to go after a second card now if you think your scores and profile are favorable.

Re: Navy Federal Secured CLI ?

@DapprD -

Super Congrats on your Navy Fed nRewards graduating to $2,000! Smiley Very Happy

As previously stated, Navy Fed will be returning your $200 deposit to you shortly.

It's not uncommon for Navy Fed to graduate nRewards cards in 5 to 6 months.

As also previously stated, this is a great time to apply for a 2nd Navy Fed card.

Navy Fed normally hard pulls TU for credit card approvals. So if your current score

of 716 is TU or relatively close to it, chances are good you'll be approved for card #2. Smiley Very Happy

Congrats again on your approval. Thanks so much for sharing! Smiley Very Happy
