So I've been trying for a 0% card for the past week with nothing but denials. All denied because of too many new accounts. I decided to apply for Navy Federal. My grandfather served in the Air Force, he is going to send me a copy of his DD214. Their customer service is freaking awesome. The call including waiting(2 minutes), and application took all of 30 minutes. I set up online banking quickly and saw the 12 month 0% offer for the platinum visa. I filled out the information and hit submit.

Instantly approved for 1k @ 14.49% which is my lowest APR so far.

This relieves itch for a 0% card, and finally being a member of the ever so loved NFCU!

Pulled TU

TU8 708 at time of approval

INQ 16 (17 including this one)

1 medical collection 6 years old

TCL Now $28,150NFCU Platinum VisaNFCU Platinum Visa

@Mv350  truely happy for you. Nobody understands  denials better than meSmiley Happy. Great card, in a year you  can  request a lower apr . Thank your grandpa! EnjoySmiley Happy

Re: NavyFed Platinum!

Congratulations @Mv350

It has long been a goal of mine to

get in with NFCU. I buried my Grandfather

last month and the Marines sent out a nice

memorial service squad.

Just remembered that I could apply based on

my Grandfather. Thanks for sharing your expierience,

might have helped me out,

Cheers
