Neiman Marcus Credit Card!

Im stuck on wether I should apply for the Neiman Marcus credit card.

I've been reading post about people being approved for them, but most of them are from posts done in 2011 - 2014.

Has anyone applied recently and checked to see whats the outcome? What was your credit score when you were approved?

My Discover Credit Score: 729

Capital One: 707

Credit Karma: TU: 720  / EQ: 724

I dont want to apply to be denied and have my credit score be affected for nothing.

My DW has the card, apped in store with a purchase. You will be approved probably for $700, maybe more. App in store and make a purchase when you apply.

She was over 700. You'll get it. Let us know the starting limit.

My DW applied like 4-5 days ago? Approved after some verification, approved for $3700, all her scores are 735-755 Fico 8. I've always heard of borderline approvals with a SL of $700.

OP, with your scores I can pretty much guarantee an approval. I was approved 4 months ago, barely into the 600s. I'm now at $3k CL, after spending a few hundred dollars and PIF. My scores have improved quite a bit since initial approval, but still lower than yours. Good luck, and keep us posted!

They pulled TU for me here in IL. I had a 700 FICO and was approved for 700 online. Had to call in to figure out what the limit was.

Just apply online... once it's opened and you get the card you can call in for CLI every month with SP until you get it where you want it.... They will approve in 600's they are pretty easy card to get... borderline approval is the $700.

I applied online, but got a message that I have applied succesfully, but that they need more time to review my application.

To expect a letter in 10 - 30 days!

I would definitely call as the last poster mentioned!  The last three apps I've done in the last week gave me the 7-10 day message which in the past for me has always meant denied. But this time they were all 3 just verification. I called and approved in minutes. Hopefully it works out the same for you as well!

Usually if they deny you get a flat out denial, I'd call for sure
