Thanks! Their reputation for growing credit lines with usage was definitely a factor in my getting the card.
Honestly, if the rewards are only 1% (2% including year-end bonus) then I might think twice about using Discover over my other 2 percent CB cards. The Apple Card has given me generous CLIs over the last 11 months, and even the Amazon Prime Chase card has been better than expected in giving me an unexpected CLI (plus, they're currently giving me a minimum 2% until the end of the year after signing up for a checking account promo).
But I could be persuaded to do otherwise after seeing my first CLI. And I've even heard that using and paying off balance transfers do count in their decision to grant CLIs.
