Called to "inquire" if acct was eligible for any increase at all, and wasn't expecting it since I just had one last month, and usually it's 4 months in between them. Rep said I wasn't, BUT, they have tools in place for their "cardholders" who utilize their cards "on a regular basis", meaning internally they can do something. I do use the card a lot and monthly, PIF.
He asked how much I was looking for, and I said I didn't have any amount in mind. He came back with... "Is an extra $2k ok?" ... I'm like sure!! Lol so new limit is now $8.5k, and I'm holding out for the upgrade to Visa Siggy soon 😉 also, reports are in ice, so it was a SP/internal thing.
a little history as well on the card...was IIB in 2013, and re approved for another acct via EO in April 2015. Here's the data:
04/14/15- re-approved for card, SL $500 on recon
11/05/15- CLI to $1k
01/25/16- CLI to $2.5k
05/19/16- CLI to $4.5k
09/09/16- CLI to $6.5 k
10/22/16- CLI to $8.5k
