I've always read that with Chase you're more likely to receive more credit by opening a new account than by requesting a CLI, and my experience supports that!
I started late April 2019 with a Chase FU with $2800. I consistently spent/paid off more than my limit for several months, after about 7/8 months asked for a CLI, got $500 increase which brought me to $3300.
Last month(February 2020), I applied for a Chase Ink, I spent multiple weeks verifying business documents and such, finally got approved for $3k! Out of excitement, I went to see if it was visible yet on my account(sadly it was not), BUT I noticed my FU received a $3300 CLI bringing it to $6600!
