I signed up with this credit union about 7 months ago. I already have their World Mastercard so knowing that a credit limit increase would cost me a hard pull I decided to apply for their Vanilla Platinum card. It has no rewards but no fees for balance transfer, cash advance, etc. I asked for $20k and that is what I was approved for at 11.9% fixed. The representative took the app over the phone and came back with the approval in about 15 minutes. Their 11.9% rate is at least half what is being offered by the major banks now and it's fixed! Pulled TU, score 762, 3/24 for the inquiries.
