I was thinking between the Citi Double Cash card (with whom I have a checkings acc) and the Overstock based on the overwhelming mentionings on here.
Edit: I couldn't let it be and on top just applied successfully for the Citi Double Cash with an approval of $5,300!
I read about the shopping card trick on myfico and since I use Overstock and will be moving states soon I gave it a shot. I clicked on checkout and the pre-approval popup came up. After providing my information (it did ask for the full SSN) I got instantly approved with a $4,500 line (my highest card has currently a $5,000 limit). Will try the CLI once I have the card details. No HP visible yet though.
I also did a CLI for my Discover It card today which was instantly approved from $2,000 to $3,500.
On the contra side Amazon Prime Card (Synchrony bank) reduced my limit a few weeks ago from $1,800 to $1,350 while it's been on a higher utilization, which happened without any warning.
Amex and Capital One both declined my CLIs.
My credit history is slightly over 2 years old with 15 inquiries and 6 new accounts in 24 months (this one is the 7th) - and just for full transparency, not to encourage anyone (!!), during the requests I had 42% utilization reported (I'm already down to ca 15% but that's not been reported yet). In total my combined CL increased from $11,030 to $17,030 this month (edit: $22,330).
I will be gardening for the next 1-2 years and am pretty happy with having this foundation to maintain a better solid average length in case of future inquiries.

Since I didn't see the HP come in yet I decided to just make a go on the Citi Double Cash as well and I guess this is my lucky day, approved with $5,300 CL .... this said, now it really really is time for gardening and let all those inquiries cool down (I'll be up to 16 inquiries again, although about 9 will drop by the end of this year :-)).
