For starters, PNC is my primary bank and has been for almost 7 years now.
I signed into my account to check on things and I saw I had a pre-selection for the Cash Rewards card. I planned to apply for this card at some point and since this popped up, I decided to take a harder look at it. After checking some stats, looking at my 5/24 status (7/24 before application, would not come out until April next year), I decided screw it let's go! Application process was painless, spun forever, and then...
I have their Core card, which is pretty much their intro card w/ a BT offer. Started at $1,500 ~ 2 years ago, just got up to $7,500 in 11/2019. This is way more than I was expecting. I know they can be conservative and I had 11 inquiries on my EX before this (Chase did a couple double pulls). Needless to say, I'll take this win. The year has been very successful so far
DP's
Scores - all ~750-755
Income - $97k
AAoA - 2.2 years
Inquiries - EX - 12 (including this)
Last cards - Chase Ink Cash (11/2019), Amazon Prime Business (11/2019), Chase Ink Preferred (2/2019)
5/24 status - Now at 8/24
Nice congrats on your approval!

I always liked PNC Bank where i lived previously, The banks down here are a joke comparatively, which is why i went with Navy Fed now.
But i've thought of switching my Marcus savings to PNC's high yield online only savings.
I was looking at switching over to US Bank because I wouldn't mind getting the Altitute Reserve, but given the current situation at hand, I think I'll just stick where I am and take what I can. I just got into Navy Fed so they will likely be my next credit card application.

Wow -- that's a great approval. Congrats!
Would you mind explaining a bit more about where the pre-selection is found?
Thanks for the DPs you included -- very helpful.

They have a pre-selection area but it's never really generated anything for me. Today when I signed in, they had a special box on my overview screen saying I had been pre-selected. Clicking on that took you to an overview of the card and then to the application process if you chose.
Congrats!
Congratulations!

I don't have any Navy Fed CC's, as i don't have a use for them currently but i know they're great cards. I plan to go through Navy Fed for my next mortgage as well.
I've contemplated the Altitude Reserve, it seems to be a great card. At this time though the CSP/CSR transfer partners better suit my needs, so i'm sticking with Chase for UR points.
I am also lucky to earn additional FlexPerks Corporate points via my corporate USBank card. Free points! Just wish i had known it was an option 3 years ago. I could have taken a couple free vacations by now.
