I was a little hesitant to poke the Sync bear, but I only have 2 Sync cards and they both get some use, so I hope I'll be OK. I'll probably leave it alone for a least another year though. 

I do like this card a lot more now that it has email purchase alerts, and my daughter likes the new contactless feature.

I wondered that as well, but with the Sync shutdowns and current economic conditions, I decided to play it safe. My 2 Sync cards represent $25K of my total  CL, so I didn't want to push the boundaries too hard.

Makes sense, better safe than sorry.  A future SP CLI is always an option when it comes to Synchrony accounts.
