PayPal 2% Cashback MC Approval DP

Hello again MyFICO fam!

Just wanted to share some datapoints on my PayPal 2% Cashback MC approval this morning. I’ve had my PayPal account for 5+ years and have been getting a lot of marketing emails, for the past year, inviting me to apply for credit. I use PayPal probably once ore twice per month regularly for subscriptions and on occasion, if I purchase something on eBay. Nothing spectacular. Lol.

As expected, they pulled TU. Instant approval. 

TU Fico 8: 662

Util: 14%

Inq: 11/12mo, now 12/12mo

New accounts: 11/12mo

SL: $2,500

If I’m leaving anything out, let me know. 

I’m pretty excited. In the past 30 days or so, I’ve added $10.8k to my overall CL. Lowe’s “DoubleTap” (Shout out to AJC) CLI from $500 to $5k, the Comenity “DoubleTap” CLI from $3350 to $6350, Walmart CLI from $200 to $1k and this approval.

It’s “double dip” but AJC pointed out that the term can only be used for a back to back CLI with Disco. All other back to back CLI requests/approvals must be referred to as a “DoubleTap”. 😆

Congrats WE1! I've been putting some heavy daily spend through my PP CB MC since I received it last month, hoping to get the limit higher. Since it's Synch, I'm sure it will happen eventually!

BTW, my CL for this card grew to $8,000 in 8 months.

That’s some great growth! Was it one big CLI or multiples? I’m also curious if all CLI’s are auto or if there is a LUV button. Lol. #LookinForLuvInAllTheWrongPlaces

Yep. So far, Synch has only pulled TU for all my apps with them. Just judging by your scores, you’ve got a great shot! IMHO, of course. Good luck to you!
