So I received a snail mail preapproval yesterday and was curious what it was offering. So I went ahead and contacted PenFed and inquired and nice CSR advised me that it was a preapproval that would be a SP.

But I still wanted to come on here and ask some questions about the odds of both SP approvals. Also some data points suggested that it still could be a HP. With that said I decided to pull the trigger anyways and roll the dice.

Well it turned into an immediate approval with a SL of 8,750 and 16.99% apr. Not the best APR but whatever it's a win and I don't plan on carrying a balance on the card anyways. It's a good way to getting my foot in the door with PenFed or how AJC calls them pendread lol. Sorry AJC I'm not making fun of you rather laughing with you.

Well I believe this sums up a solid year of forming good relationships with some solid banks and CU's. I'll proceed to the garden to let my AAOA simmer a bit.
