so I went ahead and applied for a Penfed power cash rewards card after gardening for a year and was "conditionally approved" pending review of identification documents they needed.
so I've been lurking for some time here and I remember reading that Penfed uses the same HP for applications for 90 days. So I called the Penfed rep and asked to apply for a gold card. Rep used the same hard pull and told me it's conditionally approved as well pending the review of the documents for the first card I applied for.
I was told the PCR is approved for $6500 SL and the Gold $6500 as well.
can I consolidate the gold SL to the PCR since I'm already approved for that SL and just carry a $13,000 SL on the PCR card?

that's ok. I'm extremely stoked about being approved for both cards. Same day I was applying for a Citi custom cash card since credit karma said I had "excellent approval odds" pulled the trigger and got denied lol! So then I applied for the Penfed cards and approved for 2 cards. Go figure.
