I realized I had a PenFed account I opened 2 years ago to apply for an auto loan. At that time my credit was terrible and I was declined of course. Logged in today and applied for an auto refinance which was sent to a loan officer. While I was there I applied for the Platinum Rewards Signature Visa and the Promise Visa. Got an instant approval for the Platinum Rewards for $14,000 and a referral to a loan officer for the Promise. I got a message back about the Promise offering to split the just approved Platinum $14,000 between both cards. I think I'll decline that and keep the Platinum as is at $14,000. Very happy with this approval and my fingers are crossed for the auto refi. Scores were in the high 600s, quite a few inqs due to all the cards I've been getting recently. I really think this will be the end of the line for applications for at least 6 months.
