Super excited. Applied for platinum signature Visa on July 7 and was denied. Completed the survey explaining how upset I was for not being approved. Underwriting supervisor contacted me and I explained my concerns to her. She told me due to my numerous new accounts (10) they wanted tImran to see how I would handle them. Plus I was a new member and they wanted a little history as a Penfed customer. She gave me her direct contact info and told me to call back between Sept 7 and Oct 7 and she would use my current report and approve me for a credit card. I set my phone and gave it a try today. After speaking with her and being on hold for about 5 minutes, i was approved for 8.5k. Couldn't have done it without myfico friends. Thank you.
