Rebuild momentum continues tracking in the right direction but it's time to stop & reap the benefits along with the rewards of "Gardening". Quick background, received "Pre-Approved" mailer which was a first for me no previous relationship with Penfed so never burned them and I'm 13 months post BK13 discharge. In fact, never in my credit history have I ever recieved a pre-approval and only the main reason why i bit. This community is rich with information for all walks of life only commanility is to "Keep within your means".
Stats:
- Penfed pulled EQ V9
- 6 EQ inquiries (Mostly Mortgage)
- 10 new accounts last 2yrs (10/24)
- I'm done! time to garden

In all honesty, it felt good for that snail-mail to arrive symbolic to the hard work involved realigning credit and not repeating previous mistakes. I did do a double take and pulled a Robert DeNiro "you talking to me, are you talking to me, must be me, it's my name on the letter"........sorry, showing my age there.

that's a cool Gif! the thoughts that goes through someones head on why a response isn't quick enough the stressess of credit rebuilding and waiting for results. Oh and BTW they approved me for $1,000 Overdraft protection pulled the same inquiry - i thought why not.
