I received a pre-selected invitation, 3 days a go, applied for it today but I was only approved for $5k.
Should I wait until I get the actual card before calling recon?
Or could I call them now even though I don't have an account number?
Has anyone had success with PNC BANK with upping the limit immediately?
I've done it before with wellsfargo when they gave me a visa card with only 2500$ and I asked for $5000,
they gave it to me.
I haven't hear of any one recon SLC on pnc bank!
my Experian Vantage Score from yesterday 10/26/2019 was 741!!
can any one point me out on how to recon this SLC please?
Update:
I Also received a BBVA pre-qualified invitation few days a go,
should I go for it ?
Do they hp Experian ? I already had 10 hp with today’s PNC app!!
update #2:
I just applied for the BBVA clears points credit card and I was approved with a SLC of 10k$
should I recon the 10k SLC?, if so how should I aproch it?
Congratulations on your approval!!!
Congrats on your approval.
Your VantageScores are useless, pull your real FICO scores. You can get them all from Experian for $1 through a trial of CreditWorks Premium, just cancel the trial afterwards. FICO can be insanely different from Vantage, over 100 points in either direction has been reported.
I don't believe this bank is known to recon, maybe others can give a suggestion here.
They're straight shooters when you call the backdoor #. If you really need it then go for it.
Congrats on your new PNC card
Congrats!!
You can try to call but they'll 99.99% tell you no.
You can ask for SP CLI every 6 months, and you can even find the exact date in the website and the app. You can't ask for CLI at all until 6 months pass from your approval or last CLI.
I tried with my premier traveler and that was their response.
On the bright side they're usually generous with their 6 months CLI. My friend went from 1000$ to 3000 or 4000 and I went from 12500 to 17500.
