RBFCU CLI of 150% after 3 1/2 months

I was approved for a 2% CB Mastercard SL 8K with Randolph Brooks on 10/30 -- details here. Yesterday, after some other FCU follies, I decided to try for a CLI on the phone. I asked for 20K with the understanding they would counter-offer if necessary.

It went to review for about 3 hours. Near close of business I received an email saying I'd been approved for a new CL but not how much. This morning I logged in to see my new CL is 20K. Cool.

I was wondering if we had to wait 6 months before CLI on that card. I was given a $25K SL and wonder if that is the max or if it can go higher.

Congratulations! That is a very nice CLI. This card is on my short list. I am allowing myself to get one card this year and this card is on that list. Is this a true chip and pin card?

Yeah, that was mentioned in the original approval thread. I had forgotten about that when I asked. So now we know otherwise. As to whether one can get more than 25K -- please let us know how much more they give you. I think I'll shoot for 30K next time.

It is geocentric (Texas) with a couple of exceptions. Membership requirements are here.
