I got the Rakuten Cash Back pre-approval offer in my mail today, and I'm not sure if I should pull the trigger. The welcome bonus is $50 after the first purchase. I was originally planning to garden until at least next year, because I got one card in March and one in April.
I've heard mixed things about this card, so I want to take some suggestions of whether I should do it.

May I ask what are the bad things you have heard? I was thinking about this card due to the amount of online shopping my wife does and us being heavily invested in MRs points now.
Sorry, I actually meant the bank, I should've been more clear. The only downside of the card I guess is that it no longer has extended warrenty, which they used to do just a few months ago.

I just got the card, and one surprising and disappointing thing is that they do not have a mobile app to manage the card. Web page only. I personally think it's very inconvenient.
Congrats on your Rakuten Visa approval . . . give the card a chance . . . I guess that I'm just the oppisite as I don't partically care for the apps and rather desktop . . . old school.
