Recon Success and recon cli success :)

Hello credit family! I wanted to share some good news!! I didnt know about reconsideration or clis until this site, and this month my credit scores were finally all in the 700s but I still had alot of inquiries from a car loan. So I applied for cli on my amazon,paypal, dillards amex and walmart and were denied all of them. I called for recon and dillards went from 1000 to 2000, paypal from 1700 to 4000, amazon from 2400 to 4000 and walmart from 1500 to 3000!!! I also applied for amex BCE, BoA 123 credit (I think) and Apple Barclays and were denied all of them. I called for recon and BCE approved me for 2000, BoA approved me for 2000, but apple still denied me!! lol but tats fine I got what I wanted! the nerve of apple though. lol going in the garden and staying!! Merry christmas everyone!

I want to be in the 700s again!

I only found out about it from this site! I would have never reconned and I heard BoA is hard, I was shocked when she said I was approved! I still cant get over Apple though, and it sounded so promising on the phone the guy was so nice lol He made it sound like oh of course I will get you approved. I even tried the trick I read on here about saying I was going to purchase a Mac Laptop.

I want to be in the 700s again!

also how do you start the conversation when you call the recon numbers? Do you tell them you got denied and need reconsideration... Do you just act like it's your 1st time applying? Always wonderd about that as I'm going on an App spree in March. Thanks so much!

I was just really polite, and just asked if I could reconsider and they asked me a few questions and put me on hold. the cli were easy, it was bank of america that was really digging. they asked about my car loan and specific inquiries and why I had high debt in may and if I had anything derogatory. lol I told them Bank of America is my dream card (lol) and put me on hold for 10 minutes and was approved. Amex just asked for my income.

I want to be in the 700s again!
