Wife and I have been in the garden for a long time prepping for the right time to come out. Watching these boards and the GREAT support you all have for one another is beyond exceptional. So yes we had many denials along the way, but the doors that opened were REMARKABLE.
Out of GARDEN results are:
PenFed Approved $17000 just enough to balance transfer "hers" and "mine" at 4.99%.
Causing my UTILIZATION to plummet as my last baddie officially dropping off. Penfed also refinanced our 1 car at half the Santander rate (which we had to accept during a rough period (unfortunately)!
My Fico Score JUMPED from average 679 to an average (701 to 727) in one months time on all the bureaus as I have an exceptional payment history.
Now the Garden GREW as it was on STEROIDS...
Capital One - Approved Combo $2550 to $3550 (QS Closed)

Been about 2 years with the basics - High Interest Cap1, Barclays and DiscoverIt and a Kohls... Tried Recon (soft pulls a couple times) but with a couple of baddies haunting us --> never pushed it though... My Equifax was low and my wifes was high so it provided that PenFed window of opportunity we needed to lower utilization and snowballing it into short term success. Of course Inquiries posting and new accounts will hurt us for a little while --> but playing it right in 2 years it will launch a comeback that we have worked SO HARD for!
impressive!
Congrats
Congrats on your success!
Well done!
