I noticed all the SPs this month. So I froze my TU tonight and requested a CLI from $23,300 to $30k.
No emails or anything telling me approved or denied.
Just checked my account 1.5 hrs later and the limit did change to $29k.
A $5700 CLI.
I thought I was already at or near max and mainly wanted to round it off to $25k.
I read somewhere that $80k was max exposure? Apparently not.
DPs TU is a 792 FICO 8 with 17 inqs.
I also have 2 other Navy CC's and a cloc. One CC is at $26k and the other at $25k. The Cloc is at $5k.
I've had the card 1 year and have never asked for a CLI.
That brings my total exposure with Navy to $85k.
Congrats on your CLI.
Congratulations on your CLI!
Congrats & Happy Holidays!

I believe the thinking is 80K total on credit cards, which is right where you are. Now feel free to shatter that glass ceiling.
Congrats! G on your Navy success.
Congrats on the increase!
Congrats on that Navy SP LUV!
80k is max exposure.. You will be getting a call from NFCU in next several days and probably a email from them as well asking for you to call them if you dont answer. Back in day when i was put over 80k by their system they called me a few days later to let me know i was over their max unsecured CC limit and made me make a choice what to change and from what card, etc.. For whatever reason they have yet to fix their computers to take this into consideration.
edit also maxexpsoure of 80k is just with CC's, that doesnt include CLOC of 15k. So if you figured that into it you are under their max.
regardless congrats on your increase!!
