Second Discover IT - Approval (Post BK) - myFICO® Forums

Hey!

Just wanted to share my experience with Discover. I currently sit at 3yrs post chap 7 approaching 4yrs next May. Discover approved me a year ago for a Discover IT, 800 SL, sits at 2600 now. I've read multiple times in the forums about getting a second Discover card. Decided to try my luck since the 5% cashback & match was too much to pass up. Offically have a second Discover card now with a 11k SL!!!!

*** My score sit right around 650-670 (except Penfed, cant figure them out to save my life) ***

If you're talking about the score you see in your PenFed account, two things:

One, it's FICO 9, so not the same scoring algorithm,

Two, it's only updated quarterly, so it can take a while to see changes.

If you meant something else, please elaborate.

2020-02-10 FICO 08: EX 752

That would make more sense then about it being a different model. When I applied it was just drastically different then the PenFed Score or w.e its called. Thank you!
