Shell Black Mastercard Approval

New data points for Shell Black is the new Gold Citi Mastercard. My first real citi card. Yay. Only $800 limit. Anyone have experience on this one growing?? I also applied and was approved for 200/200 secured Capital One Card on July 14, 2017 and had my credit steps increase to $500 @ 5 months and then got the email my deposit was being returned and recieved a credit to my account on July 18 2018. I then immediately called into customer service to get a credit line increase and was subsequently denied due to the same reasons as before "credit line increases are not available for this account type". but they were able to PC me to the full blown Quicksiler not the Quicksilver 1 so it still was the same account with the low limit of $500 due to the "system" still recognizing it as secured and I am wondering if anyone else’s grows with similar ocurrences... 1 4 year old repo on Transunion otherwise clean reports just low AAC

Congrats. I hope those are CLI's you posted on the accounts and not balances and CL's. Theres a place called the garden in the personal finance section. 40-50 inq's? Umm. Time to grow. And with some of the nice cards you have. Why worry about a Plat/QS passing 500 bucks. Its a starter/bucket card and will stay that way for a long time.

Yes it’s definitely just the credit limit increases. I have 18% utilization. But absolutely agree I need to lock my reports. Mainly from myself. Lol

Congrats on the approvals and CLIs. As FireMedic1 stated, I think it's time to garden - 40+ inqs is quite a bit. I'd lay low for atleast 12 months, let your accounts age some and bring your balances down a bit (under 8% would be best).
