The couple of hundred bucks SUB won't be useless for either of us; we may even be in Bryan Adams territory. (I'm aware that the Canadian government has apologized on numerous occasions.)

That's an important distinction. This was my first WF card. So $18k+$12k=$30k. Put that way, we have equality.

They give me preapproval splash screen for this everytime I pay mortgage, but I likely won't ever bite. They score they give me is EQ Fico 9, so I guess that is what they use.
