Submitted membership application last night...was a soft pull on Equifax (which according to the document I just signed was 703). She called this morning verifying my eligibility...then proceeded to ask me if I wanted to try other products they had, thirsty! Obviously, I stopped when she told me about their new "The ONE" card (equal to signature) with a 12 month 0% APR on purchases. She said they would use the soft pull to determine my approval and credit limit (I was like ugh, I rather ask for the usual $15,000, but whatever). Approval came back, $5,000. Better than nothing on a soft pull; can always ask for more in a year!
This was a nice haul to start the year altogether on the credit union front in just a couple days, I'm exhausted. CLI 12.5K Chartway, new cards Langley 15K and First Financial FCU 15K, phew!
