Sometimes Discover Says No, Sometimes They Say Yes! $5,500 CLI (Double DIP Update)

Hello Ficoers! 

Today I decided to take a spin on the Discover wheel and was approved for a $5,500 CLI  

This is pretty much my "streaming" card at this point. I run about $7.00 through it with iTunes purchases per month and let it report at zero. 

Discover Timeline:

Opened on April 25th, 2018 $5000 

Credit Limit Increase on July 9th 2018 +1,500 = $6500

Credit Limit Increase on October 7th 2018 +3,000 = $9500

Credit Limit Increase on November 25th 2018 +200 = $9700

Credit Limit  Increase on November 25th 2018 +50 = $9750 (Double Dip)

Credit Limit  Increase on August 27th 2019 +2950 = $12,700

Credit Limit Increase on October 23rd 2019 +5,500 = $18,200

discover really love you! I opened a secured card with them November of last year. the card graduate june of this year, It's been 4 months since the card graduate, I got denied every time I ask for a cli.

It will happen for you! Discover is a strange bird. They told me no a few weeks ago and nothing has changed lol. I was just logging in to pay my $6.70 bill and decided to take a chance. It's hard to understand when and why they grant increases.
