Southwest Priority Approval with CL Adjustment - $13k

Applied at 4/24 with six Chase cards, combined CL is $45k.  I expected to shift some credit in order to open the card, but Chase automatically decreased the CL on my Sapphire Reserve by $13k to open the SW Priority.  The stated reason was: "You already have the maximum amount of credit we can offer you" and "Your current amount of credit is enough in relation to your income".

I was planning on shifting around some credit anyway, but I thought it was interesting that Chase did it automatically.  SUB is going to fund a couple inter-island flights for a family vacation to Maui/Big Island later this year.

Maybe after your trip you can decide if you wanna keep that limit or reallocate some of it back on your reserve
